Erin Hughes
Lab Director
Dr. Erin Hughes is an assistant professor in the department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Fairfield University. Her research focuses on the interplay between romantic relationships and the self-concept. She also studies the experiences of justice-impacted couples. Annie Casanta
Research Assistant
Annie is a second-year student at Fairfield U, majoring in psychology with a minor in health studies. Annie is passionate about understanding human behavior and is particularly interested in the longevity of relationships and how this impacts dependency. Annie is also interested in studying attachment styles and their implications on human behavior and relationships. She enjoys spending time with friends, going to the beach, and trying new workout classes in her free time.

Casey Cascio
Research Assistant
Casey is a third-year undergraduate student at Fairfield University, majoring in Psychology concentrated in behavioral neuroscience. She is interested in exploring the psychology surrounding singlehood, and how societal stigmatizations and pressures impact their self-esteem. She is also interested in childhood psychology, and learning different interventions surrounding childhood psychopathology. In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and listening to music.

Research Assistant
Ellie Glab is a second-year student at Fairfield University, majoring in psychology with minors in health studies and management. She is passionate about exploring how social influences shape human behavior and is particularly interested in studying the impact of close relationships on identity. In her free time, Ellie enjoys attending concerts, reading, and painting.
